Myles McCormick – CEO, Bare Escentuals

Myles B. McCormick has served as Chief Executive Officer of Bare Escentuals since 2010. Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. McCormick served as Chief Financial Officer of Bare Escentuals since December 2004 and Chief Operating Officer of Bare Escentuals since March 2006. Prior to joining Bare Escentuals, Mr. McCormick was Chief Financial Officer for The Gymboree Corporation, an apparel retailer, from February 2002 to December 2004, and Vice President of Finance from May 2001. Prior to that, he held several management positions at Electronic Arts, a developer and marketer of interactive software games, bebe stores, Inc., an apparel retailer and Espirit deCorps., an apparel retailer. Mr. McCormick holds an M.B.A. from Notre Dame de Namur at Belmont, California and a B.S. from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.

Rachel Braun Scherl – President, Semprae Laboratories, Inc.

As President of women’s sexual satisfaction and health products company Semprae Laboratories, Inc., Rachel brings over 20 years experience in health related consumer products. Upon graduating from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1992, Rachel joined Johnson and Johnson’s McNeil Consumer Healthcare division (now McNeil Consumer and Specialty Pharmaceuticals), where she worked with a core team to manage the company’s flagship Tylenol® brand. Rachel then joined consulting firm Marketing Corporation of America where she focused on identifying and building growth opportunities for OTC, pharmaceutical and consumer products leaders within the Johnson and Johnson family of companies, as well as for other market leaders such as American Express and Disney. Rachel then co-founded The Jannick Group, LLC/ Spark Solutions for Growth where she advised Fortune 100 firms, including multiple divisions and operating companies of Johnson and Johnson, Wyeth, Deloitte & Touche and GlaxoSmithKline. In 2008, The Jannick Group teamed with Quaker BioVentures to create Semprae Laboratories, Inc. to focus on developing and marketing women’s sexual health products. Its flagship product, Zestra®, is the first topically applied non-prescription product clinically proven to increase arousal, sensation, pleasure and satisfaction in women.
